Please consider also addressing the LXC link on the https://documentation.ubuntu.com/lxd/en/latest/explanation/security/ page.

I don't think this helps - the page that you're linking to doesn't have any details about security measures for privileged containers.
We have a task to add something to our docs about this, but for now, the LXC page is the best place to link to imo.

The new link is less helpful. (there is some information, but it's not very useful)

I am making this request, since someone followed the LXC link to linuxcontainers.org and nearly reported a LXD vulnerability there.

I chatted with @ru-fu about this and we will merge this for now and then reintroduce the privileged security info as part of the existing task we have outstanding.
