How do I get it?

Can I mix Joy-Con's with other trackers?

Yes, you can use Joy-Con's in combination with anything else that connects to the SlimeVR Server. This includes phones using the OwOTrack software and bought or DIY made SlimeVR trackers.

How many Joy-Con's do I need?

That depends a lot on what you want to acomplish and what other devices you have. You do need a minimum of 5 devices, either phones, Joy-Con's, or SlimeVR trackers. You can mix these, say either have 3 phones and 2 Joy-Con's, or 1 phone and 4 Joy-Con's. (If you only have 3 devices, you can also try out the "Minecraft Steve" mode.) How well does it work?

It works well enough that you can try out FBT but I wouldn't suggest buying any Joy-Con's specifically to try. There is quite a lot of yaw drift using the Joy-Con's (yaw is in this case like you are standing on the floor and turning around). You will need to bind a button on your controllers to the Quick Reset keybinding, this will reset only the yaw, so you can do it while sitting or laying forward. My Joy-Con's are connected in the Windows bluetooth menu but won't show up!

This is a problem that might be related to a newer Windows update. Try this, and it might fix it:

  • Go to the Windows Setting app -> Bluetooth & other devices.
  • Press on the Joy-Con that won't connect. Press "Remove device".
  • Pair the device again. It should now show up.
