Colors are not accurate in Telegram #31
Comments
Do you, by chance, still know the distribution method you've used to install the theme? Pretty sure some parts of the Telegram port still use an outdated palette which is due to a lack in maintenance, but this is far beyond what it should look like. |
Well, I clicked the theme link here on the github code page. I then figure researching other issues (closed) that I can download the palette manually and create a new theme, that did the trick (though even there were some not nice things, like the selected message used the sky blue with white text, that was not very readable, so I edited the theme myself a bit). |
Have the same issue, I think it is the fault of default mac os telegram client. Turns out mac has two clients: one integrated by default and one cross platform. And apparently first one ignores themes, or applies them badly. Found similar issue here https://stackoverflow.com/questions/56286153/how-to-apply-themes-on-telegram-on-a-mac |
I'm using Catppuccin in many applications, but in Telegram Desktop on MacOS (installed viac App Store) the colors are not accurate. See the screenshot, this should be Catppuccin Mocha, the background should be much darker, not greyed out like this. Any ideas what could be the issue?
