It's a useful UI component I temporarily called the sqnobs. They map to a range of output parameter and changes linearly with vertical mouse movements or touchmove

vertical movement
linear scale
rewrite touch interactions for multitouch
log2 scale for audio parameters
more scales to choose and add as a prop to the component
