Extra Small Screen - I would like to roll my own front end.

Hey, Been using rdio-scanner for a few weeks now along with SDRTrunk and some users feeding in external feeds using Downstream and Voxcall, everything is working great, this is something I have been wanting for a long long time but only just came across it but I feel the front end on smaller screens could do with a little love and attention.

I have been playing about with how I feel this should look on smaller screens and was wondering how best I could modify the CSS to achieve what I want.

I am using a Network Radio, an Inrico S200 and feel there is too much padding here and there meaning lots of wasted real-estate and it's also a bit hard on the eyes, my iPhone and Android tablet are great, it's just when you bring the screen down to network radio level.

I cloned the project but not sure what pre-requisites are needed to get this up and running locally for me to develop against, I have decent skills when it comes to layouts with HTML and CSS etc so would love to be able to give this a go.

Any Ideas on how to proceed?
