APIs should offer a standard way to determine status (eg: that the server is running and correctly configured), possibly including monitoring/instrumenting/reporting.

Is this logically in scope for the Shared API Team? If so, do we have guidelines? Conclusion: All APIs should have a standard /status resource. values TBD based on experience
