Please add Kindle Scribe #447

FWIW, I would recommend using As far as I know those are the correct dimensions for the Scribe. Not sure about gamma yet. If you experiment with custom gamma settings, please share your findings. |
I'll try this. |
Anyone knows if this is what he meant?? |
That's clear now. Thanks. Last question, which file format do I choose for manga/comics? Do I keep it as default EPUB? Or should I choose MOBI? |
I don't own a scribe but I suppose it's mobi like other kindles. |
Mobi if you want to drop them in via Calibre, which you'll want to do if you want to keep the covers intact (otherwise the moment the kindle gets network connection, it'll wipe them. It's a quirk). The workaround to keep them is:
Edit: If you don't care about covers, you may want to use send to kindle; ironically, amazon's send to kindle now supports epub but DOESN'T support mobi - they've phased it out for that. This has the added benefit of adding the files to your library as well for syncing across several kindles etc., though keep in mind it also has a 200MB per file limit. Another edit: So just now I tried sending an epub created by KCC via send to kindle - and so far the cover is actually staying. Perhaps I messed up before, or perhaps something else changed, but either way another good option! |
#500 increases Scribe quality |
I don't know what to choose since Kindle Scribe is not included.
