Hi,
I only just set this up, so I'm not sure I'm doing everything correctly.... ;)
I am using the Docker container on a Synology RackStation. I have mapped /data/media and /config to local folders so I can access the 'raw' PDF files if I need to, I may mirror them to a Google Drive or similar for backup, for example.
OCR does not (yet?) seem to work, at least I can't see any OCR data (UI tells me to select a thumbnail page, but even if I do I can see no data).
Also, I made german the default language in paperge.conf.py but it doesn't stick in the UI (it does show up at least).
I bought a brother ADS-2400N that scans to a shared folder on my NAS. I use a shell script that runs every 5 minutes to pick up the results and push them into Papermerge with the REST API (I can share the script if anyone's interested, but it's just a slight modification of the example).
All my files show up in Inbox, I have created tags and folders. Here's how I imagine processing should work:
I would now like to have an automation pick up the files based on the tags (!) and sort them into folders. There are way too many possible combinations of text to make this work based on the content. For example, I want files the tag "Rechnung" to go into the "Rechnung" folder, they may have additional tags like "Steuer" to pick them up when doing taxes.
Is that a possible workflow?
If not, is there a way to move files out of Inbox without automates - I have not gotten this to work.
