Thanks for the great book.I enjoy reading it every day.
I am just preparing a shiny app with leaflet and choropleth maps. I display the geographic distribution of the hometowns of my patients. One issue, the data are skewed and building the color palette is difficult. I would appreciate some tips how to represent skewed data with colors.

Published it on https://kphahn.shinyapps.io/geo_public/
Changed logic to leafletProxy for faster change of data and maintain zoom factor when changing year or departement.
