This is set so our role will be compatible with dev-sec framework.

Should be home directory for node-exporter as /opt? or it can be pointed to some nonexistent folder.

When home directory is set to some nonexistent one it falls back to /.
Setting / as home dir is quite safe since:

  • it isn't writable by anyone other than root
  • /usr/bin/nologin shell won't even allow user logging in
