We are implementing an API that consumes bundle.json documents. We'd like to include a Content-Type header filter in that API but we're unsure what the media type should be. Is there already a media type that isn't documented? Or are there plans to apply for an IANA media type?

If we don't already have a media type, I would be happy to submit an application for registering a media type under the vendor tree for cnab.

Yeah, we should do that.

Has anyone tackled this yet? Otherwise, we should probably declare a name in the extension space.

I have added this to the registry milestone because this is likely a required part of that endeavor

Has anyone done this yet? This issue seems dead.

The current proposal is:

application/vnd.cnab.bundle.config.v1+json

This appears to conform to the OCI artifact spec, as well.
