Explain what happens

  1. I have 8 VMs within this system and they all have static IP addresses within the same subnet (192.168.1.XXX/25). I can ssh into all the VMs, they all can see the internet for updates etc. However the VMs cannot see themselves. I cannot ping from one VM to another.
  2. The platform is an HP host with 4 NICS but all communication happens over NIC 0.
  3. This may be a trivial networking problem please bear with me I am new to cockpit.
  4. Any pointers will be much appreciated

To get further help you need to share the NIC configuration of the VMs.
Using a bridge interface will solve the problem generally.
