Under the Login section could a sub section be added for common login troubles? On various socials people are always asking about login issues.

Maybe the following things that I've seen suggested in the past with a explanation?

  1. Connect and Reload Server Settings.

  2. Show how to use Bash to connect with SSH .

  3. Check CCSID.

  4. Do they have a home folder and does the user profile point to the correct home folder.

  5. Common Private Key setup errors.

  6. Remove Auth Methods in Login Settings

These might not even be a concern but I try and help people that have questions with a few suggestions I've seen before.

@thomprl Under Tips there is a section on BASH. Also notes on CCSID. And more.

Understood, just thought it would be good to have all the troubleshooting in one place so that you could point them to one page. But maybe it's not worth the effort. Just see a lot of FB, Reddit, Ryver, Midrange, LinkedIn posts with similar problems. Just a suggestion to try and cut down on beginner questions.

Someone on Ryver also suggested including a link to this page:
