Another great find by @makenova, just moving this info over here from Google Groups :-)

Google has a civic information API that contains:

Representatives by area
Polling places
Candidate data
Election data
and more...

This could be something we eventually tie in to the "School Finder" app (as it becomes more than just schools.)
