EventStore is currently restricted to run on a single node only.

Support for running on a cluster would allow:

  • Availability - allow our application to continue running when a node fails.
  • Scalability - add nodes to distribute load.
  • Deployment - no downtime deployment via rolling upgrades.

Use:

  • Swarm to distribute stream processes.
