Feature Request

Just for tracking purpose (and to not forget about it): Amazon has announced the maintenance mode for aws-sdk-go by July 2024 and end-of-life by July 2025, see: https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/developer/announcing-end-of-support-for-aws-sdk-for-go-v1-on-july-31-2025/
