What problem are you facing?

In the context of crossplane-contrib/provider-upjet-aws#325, we need more visibility especially into the scheduler runtime component of upjet.

How could Upjet help solve your problem?

We could expose some Prometheus metrics from upjet runtime. Some suggested metrics are:

  • # of Terraform CLI + Terraform provider processes running
  • # of Terraform workspaces being actively reconciled at a moment
  • Duration of each Terraform CLI invocation
  • ttr
