Hibernate has an optional JFR integration module which can emit some Hibernate-specific JFR events. Very similar to #548, #733, #735 , we should have a Preset Event Template and a pre-defined Automated Rule to capture these events.

Cryostat itself also does use Hibernate, so it would be nice to see if simply adding that hibernate-jfr dependency would also enable these events to be registered within Cryostat.
