When attempting to add this Add-On, there is a window with a message stating the following:

Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app

This app has not been verified yet by Google in order to use Google Sign In.

You can make own project with the source code copied from this repository. See the menu Tools -> Script Editor in your Google Spreadsheet. It has worked for me.
