Get data either:

  • From the UI Server (in the same way as the web UI).
  • Direct from a workflow as currently implemented, the nice easy solution which works out-of-the-box where the UI Server is not available.

We need to do this generally for the CLI. So that problem will need to be solved first.

I think it could happen whenever because this command is all client side so it's not like the runtime commands (e.g. cylc trigger) so it won't share the same solution.
