This release fixes some of the common user complaints...

  • EmuNAND9 can now handle corrupt SD cards and SD cards with non FAT32 file systems.
  • NAND dumps from rxTools / EmuNAND Tool / others can now be cloned into EmuNAND. Note that these tools don't use actual NAND chip memory size for their dumps, which is technically wrong.

The first change means that now basically any SD card on any system can be formatted in EmuNAND9.

New in this release:

  • Restructured SD format menu, now also contains 'legacy' EmuNAND format option
  • Oversized starter.bin files are now allowed per user choice
  • Updated starter.bin file
  • Some minor bug fixes

The 'legacy' option uses the same sizes for EmuNANDs as the GW software did, in essence wasting a lot of space. However, some older tools may require the EmuNAND to have that size to work. It is still recommended to use the default option (which is also used in the 'Complete EmuNAND Setup'.

New in this release:

  • This fixes dumping the SysNAND on SD cards without the EmuNAND set up.
  • A copy of starter.bin is now created in the work dir if autosetup is used.
  • This tool was renamed to EmuNAND9 (from EmuNAND9Tool)

The name change is mainly because EmuNAND9 is more memorable and because EmuNAND9Tool sounded a little too much like EmuNAND Tool (which is in no way associated with this).

The last release contained some unneeded files in the starter.bin. This is now fixed. It also replaces MiniPasta CFW with an actually working version.
