Simply put, that is BarChart units are left, LineChart unit is right. But the Chart-Demo, the unit is the same, to the left as the standard. So I do not know how ended up about two standards.

If I understand correctly, you just have to assign axisDependency in data set object, so the data set will know which axis (left or right) is being used.
e.g. barChartDataSet.axisDependency = .Left
