I have tried a number of IoT installations procedures for installing the RealSense SDK on the Rpi family of SBCs and this one appears to be the best.
I am presently installing the RealSense SDK on a Rpi 3B+ with a 2GB swap file running the latest Buster Desktop while I am waiting for my Rpi 4B 4GB SBC to arrive. My Rpi 3B+ has heat sinks on all of the critical components and a fan so I am able to run all four processors without it throttling back due to overheating.
I have noticed a number of "deprecated" warnings during the build and installation process which might indicate that this procedure needs to be updated. Example: Protobuf is now at version 3.14.
Regards, TCIII
