Lots of thoughts after reading this fully. I have to say, the ACE framework is quite impressive. For me it's more than just technically impressive; it serves as a structured focal point that helps cut through the complexity of AI and AGI. It's like having a roadmap that simplifies an otherwise overwhelming journey.
The term "lucid complexity" comes to mind here. I appreciate the depth and detail, and it also read as quite accessible to anyone who wanted to make the effort to read it. It felt a lot like reading a chapter in a literary science fiction novel, but it's not fiction—we're actually working on this, and that's amazing.
I'm also looking at ACE from an educational standpoint, especially as a public school tech teacher. I see potential to use it as the centerpiece of a kind of bulletin board to spark discussions on all things AI—from the basics to more advanced topics. ACE has potential as an excellent question and topic generator for other educators and staff as well. It may provide an opportunity for everyone, regardless of their familiarity with AI, to engage in meaningful discussion and broaden their understanding.
Those are my initial thoughts, and looking forward to diving deeper into as a technology and as a potential educational tool. Great job.
PS. I forgot to mention something that really stood out to me, that as educators we are schooled in and refer to Blooms taxonomy and Maslow Hierarchy of Needs regularly, so the crossover here really helps segue this framework into the education space quite well.
