Portuguese Kale Soup

Ingredients

1 c dry pea or kidney beans, soaked
1 large onion, sliced
1 lb chorizo/chourico
1lb kale
10 c water
1 tsp pepper
2 cups potatoes, cubed

Steps

Put everything but potatoes in pot; cook 2-3 hours
Add potatoes, 1c water more, cook until tender
