Dev Version: alpha-0.3 (Horrors in the Sky)

  • These changes are not necessarily implemented, but are being developed.

  • Added Semiconductor boss and its drop to the world.

  • Extended Shopkeeper questline.

  • Added Rubber Cap.

Update ????-?-? (alpha 0.3 release)

  • Lightning no longer breaks world lighting.
  • Added obstacle physics to many objects that didn't have them before.
  • Up and Away can now be accessed in any world.
  • Fixed a bug causing Winter to repeat infinitely.
  • Fixed Up and Away preset not showing in Preset menu.
  • Added a new preset which starts you right in the cloudrealm. Beware.
  • Fixed Duckraptor crash and appearance.
  • Retuned biomes. It is recommended to regenerate your cloud world.
  • Beanlet Huts now never put their lights out.
  • Jellyshrooms now glow in the dark.
  • Brightened non-static phase in the cloudrealm.
  • Auroras now glow in the dark.
  • Added Grabber, for when you're feeling lazy.
  • Fixed Octocopter boss getting stunlocked.
  • Buffed Octocopter boss damage and lowered time between attacks.
  • Added Bean Giant boss and its drop to the world.
  • Fixed Beanlets running backwards.
  • Beanlets are now less afraid of players.

  • Fixed Thunder Tree saplings not being plantable.
  • Fixed Thunder Trees dissappearing when chopped.
  • Fixed Thunder Trees not having "leaves".
  • Fixed Gustflower Seeds planting themselves into Gustflowers even when in the player's inventory.
  • Fixed Gustflowers playing the wrong animations.
  • All cloudrealm turfs can now be dug up and transplanted.
  • Fixed Cloudfruit Trees being buggy (not dropping loot, etc) when chopped.
  • Jellyshrooms now spawn facing various directions.

Update 2019-3-1 (alpha 0.2.13 release)

  • Lowered Winnie's sanity further.
  • Having followers when equipped with Winnie's Staff no longer raises sanity instead of lowering it.
  • The followers now have to be near, however.
  • Fixed a bug causing it to always be summer. If you still experience this bug, please share your save's DLC information.

Future Changes (These are for the future, they have not been implemented.)

  • Fixed items going into storage containers when opened.
  • The wind axe spawns whirlwinds very rarely now.
  • The cumulocator station placer will appear for players for whom it previously wouldn't appear.
  • Thunder logs will no longer appear invisible to players.
  • Cloud waves are no longer invisible.
  • Fixed an incompatibility with the BetterWalls mod.

  • Tweaked the shopkeeper behaviour (made it check Beefalo by proximity only, not follower status, and made it remind the player to talk to him when a Beefalo is near).
  • Nerfed skytraps.
  • Actually fixed the issue with black boxes on the Shopkeeper and Winnie.
  • Removed the ability to cook or eat the magic beans.
  • Moved the Reign of Giants advertisement.
  • Fixed the disappearing Shopkeeper on the main menu.
  • Fixed Winnie's staff disappearing on attack.
  • Added a minimap icon for the Weaverbird Nest.
  • Fixed dropped kettles being invisible.
  • Fixed follower inventory not persisting through climbing.
  • Whirlwinds now dissapear when the world uncharges.

Now there is a cloudrealm world entity.

The Cloud Realm is now implemented on top of caves. The world transition/generation is organized by height: caves have negative height, the surface has zero height and the cloud realms (currently just one, though) have positive height.
