Reminders from the summit local organizer! (Mostly about the weather)

Dear @delph-in/participants :

We are looking forward to seeing you in A Coruña soon for the annual summit (June 26-30, or June 23 for those coming for the pre-summit workshop and the San Juan party).

I just wanted to make sure everyone noticed the "local guide", particularly the Weather section. Please be prepared for both very warm (28-30 degrees) and rainy weather, especially for the excursion. Pack sun lotion and light clothing (including beach clothing!) but also please do not forget to pack your rain jacket (which you should carry with you always, even on seemingly warm and sunny days on which it can still be very windy). Pack or wear shoes appropriate for rain. It sometimes rains very unexpectedly and very intensely here.

Those who will already be here for the San Juan day (June 23), remember that everything you wear on that day (including any bags/backpacks) will be smoked through. Plan accordingly. Take a disposable bag and wear clothes you don't value much. Keep your hotel windows closed on that day/night.
