dear CRB, not sure how much this is an algorithmic cliche. however, visually speaking it is quite a cliche. maybe there is something more algorithmic to be found when looking into minecraft, MagicaVoxel, or this article How a new wave of developers are using voxels to create jaw-dropping worlds ?
