What do you think about weekly builds?

I would like to "slave" my Jenkins Build slave for you if you want. (Sounds more sexual then expected)
I know how hard getting started in yocto is - with ready built images people could enjoy this os.

The images could be then uploaded to git lfs or a simple plain webserver. What do you think about this? I guess it will be a lot of work getting this done - so i really would like to hear your opinion before i start doing this.

With kind regards Mia

Hi,

What do you think about weekly builds?

Great idea.

The images could be then uploaded to git lfs or a simple plain webserver.

Both are equally good for me.

p.s.
I'm not sure is if those images should or shouldn't contain any of proprietary firmware (provided by firmware-libretro recipe).

Cheers,
Bartłomiej

My current goal is to create a docker-container for building. When this is done, actually the other steps will be quite easy.

I just didnt have time lately - my family just had some kind of midnight crisis 🙄

You could help me with creating a Dockerfile for a docker build container - if you want to.

I thought about reusing the siemens kas container:
https://github.com/siemens/kas

Thats actually what we are using at work. Its quite cool. If we modify the project to a kas project everything would be extremely simple - but thats optional.

I'll probably try to configure with kas next week.
