Description

The current auditd.conf template specifies a hard coded value of 5 for num_logs. If changing the max_log_file_action to rotate, it would be sensible to allow the number of logs to be specified.

Solution

I will submit a PR to add this to the template, set the default, and add to the os_hardening role readme.

Alternatives

This does not change the default behaviour of the role but allows more flexibility to the existing template.

Sounds great!
