Contribution guidelines

  • Thanks that you have decided to contribute to this repo.
  • When contributing to this repository, please first discuss the change you wish to make via issue.
  • Only one resource per issue.

Workflow

Our project uses the GitHub Flow

The steps to make your first contribution to this project are as follows :

  • Create issue for proposed resource or category.
  • Once Assigned, fork the repository.
  • Clone that forked repository to your local environment.
    $ git clone <url_for_forked_repo>
  • Create feature branch. (name : feature-x, resource-x, patch-x).
    $ git checkout -b <branch_name>
  • Update Readme file.
  • Commit the changes.
    $ git add README.md
    $ git commit -m "add resource_name under category_name"
  • Push to origin.
    $ git push origin <branch_name>
  • Create PR through GitHub.
  • Wait to merge!

  • Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting
