Moq welcomes user contributions, but perhaps people don't realise this given that there's no contribution guidelines. I suggest we add a CONTRIBUTING.md to the repository.

Possible contents:

  • What information to include in a bug report
  • Meaning of the various labels (in particular, "up for grabs" and "needs repro")
  • Tools required for working with the source code
  • Where (against which branch) to submit a PR
  • What to include in a PR (unit / regression tests, changelog entry, etc.)
  • Coding standards (code formatting, whitespace, type member order, using statement order, etc.)
