Cannot get meaningful frame

Hi, I'm trying to modify the code to make it show on the local screen instead of streaming. I change the thermal camera to use SoftSPI plus some pin assignment and comment out the part for v_mode selection. I tried to print out the buff_video to get an idea of each frame, but what returns are just a lot of /x00. Could you provide some suggestions? Thanks
