In most cases, it would be possible to add support. The only problematic cases are those where it is not clear how the segments translate into phonological features.
I’ve used the chart from Wikipedia to check whether all consonants in there are known by PanPhon. It turns out many are not:
['ɳ̊', 'ɲ̊', 'ŋ̊', 'p̪', 'b̪', 'ʡ', 'θ̼', 'ð̼', 'ɹ̠̊˔', 'ɹ̠˔', 'ɻ˔', 'ʔ̞', 'ⱱ̟', 'ⱱ', 'ɾ̼', 'ɽ̊', 'ɢ̆', 'ʡ̆', 'ɽ̊r̥', 'ɽr', 'ʜ', 'ʢ', 'ɭ̊˔', 'ɭ˔', 'ʎ̝̊', 'ʟ̝̊', 'ɭ̥̆', 'ɭ̆', 'ʎ̆', 'ʟ̆']
I believe, at least some of them, such as
ʡ
andⱱ
, are in actual use. Would it be possible to support these? The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
