I cannot reproduce in 9.4.0 RC maybe this somehow got fixed by something else. @Timo-Breumelhof. The 9.4.0 RC is available as a pre-release, so not meant for production, if you want to give it a try and repport back. Or if you notice it is still an issue after the official 9.4.0 release, please open a new issue. |
@valadas I just tested this on the RC and it's still an issue. |
I stand corrected or it relates with some other conditions, today I can reproduce |
I am 99% sure this is a UI issue and moving it to AdminExperience... |

Description of bug
When creating a site of the type "Directory" (child-portal) the generated Site Url can contain spaces, which is not valid.
Steps to reproduce
List the steps to reproduce the behavior:
1 . Create a new site.
2. Enter the Site Title: "My website"
3. Select the ( ) Directory radio
4. DNN generates "dnn9dev.local/My Website" as the "site Url"
Which is incorrect, it should be "dnn9dev.local/My-Website" IMO.
If you don't notice this and click [Create Site] you get an error
It would be good if DNN would replace invalid characters when auto creating this Url
Current result
"dnn9dev.local/My Website
Expected result
"dnn9dev.local/My-Website"
