Test GNOME 46 compatibility #13
Comments
Works if you use on 1024x1080, 49'' has issues (can't use mouse clicks to edit layout) |
That's interesting, thank you for sharing the gnome-shell issue and the temporary solution. Are you affected by this problem? Is it persistent or does it occur once in a while? |
Overall works great on my setup (Gnome 46 w/Arch, 3440x1440 UW), though I did notice one bug. I have the tray icon disabled (for aesthetic reasons) but when customizing the tiling layout, there was no way that I could find to get out of the customization screen. I had to use my keyboard to eventually navigate to the extension manager to turn off the extension and on again since the mouse was taken up by the customization overlay. |
@bennyb0i thank you for your feedback for sharing that bug! I'm opening a new issue and I'll fix it soon! |
Nagranie.ekranu.z.2024-06-12.22-08-52.mp4In general i have this issue from time to time, when gnome-shell is running for a while. There is no duplicate instance, but maybe I don't see it. |
Hi @pawelel, does it appear only if you open the layout editor and you don't interact with it for a long time? |
Hi, in general this video displays that the left button click goes through the layout setting despite the working highlight. After logout/in I can change/set a new layout. |
We can confirm there are no issue related to GNOME 46. Closing as completed Some users are affected by the problem of mouse clicks we were talking about. That is now tracked by #29. |
