The latest version of Next is 12 at the time of this issue, which resolves a Webpack bug while using the next build command (happens because of the conflict in Webpack 4. For more information, see the issue here).

Upgrading Next from 10.0.1 (the current version) to the latest version of Next with Webpack 5 installed fixes this bug.
