You mention that brew sucks and that "Nix is the worst package manager on MacOS except for all the other package managers." However, it seems to me that brew is generally well-received by the community, being used at Google and even in some Linux distros. What is so bad about using brew that, even with all the bad and ugly parts, the experience with Nix is better? |

Nix on Mac unfortunatelly has a long way to go yet. Not without its rough edges, Nix remains the best package manager on MacOS. As Nix evolves, we wait for the situation to hopefully improve.
