Running into this error when navigating to a tab from the sidemenu:

TypeError: this.parent.unregisterChildNav is not a function

To reproduce:

  1. Download & run the conference app: https://github.com/driftyco/ionic-conference-app
  2. Skip through the tutorial to the tabs page
  3. Open the side menu and click one of the items under "Navigate"
