Authentication to Consumer

It seems that the expectation is that the consumer endpoint will accept all incoming requests. For a security tool that seems a little unusual. For instance, sending to something like Azure Log Analytics we need to be able to set up a header with the workspace id and key. Is there any plan to improve this tool soon or to add a specific connector for Azure Log Analytics?
