external dac pcm2704 usb

Hi,
I'm trying to use an external usb dac based on texas intruments pcm2704.
Exactly like this on aliexpress: https://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005002283852903.html

I changed this parameters in mt32-pi.cfg:
output_device = i2s
i2c_dac_address = 1a (I found this with a Raspberry PI OS distro and using i2cdetect -y 1)

Still I cannot ear sound output from this device.

I used this usb dac on a old project with the raspberry pi, samplerbox (https://www.samplerbox.org/) and it worked.

Any advice?

USB DACs are not supported and won't be for the forseeable future.

From the DAC wiki page:

Note: We do not support any kind of USB DAC audio output device, due to the lack of drivers in the Circle baremetal framework that we depend on. Adding USB audio support to Circle would be a huge undertaking, although if that changes in the future and Circle gains USB audio support, we could certainly make use of it.
