We'll have a look at this. It seems to be a new Theia issue which has appeared in the latest version.

Hi @qcjxs, did you start the theia-ide as debug? In that case this error should have been fixed now (see also 9daa0c0).
In case you didn't launch it via a debug configuration, you can try going to %userprofile%.theia\plugin-storage and see if you have a large (100-200mb) global-storage.json file there. Delete that and it should work again. This is a bug in theia currently which is under investigation. See also eclipse-theia/theia#12708.
If none of these two apply could you please give me more information on how you're starting Theia.

oh and it seems like the elecrton distributables were also not loading the plugins correctly.
This should now also be fixed (see #92)
