I can imagine to offer them for download. Anything else, I could do? How would I trigger indexing them?

There are no immediate plans to do anything with them.

I don't think there is currently any application or plugin that does something with them. You could probably build something by grabbing them from the engage publication and then doing something (first you would have to add them to the engage publication, but that's not a problem). I'm not sure what you mean by indexing.

We will probably offer this as well as the HTML and PDF representation for download in the Stud.IP plugin and submit a pull request to /elan-ev/studip-opencast-plugin

Regarding to indexing, I'm referring to the search index which is able to index slide texts, for instance and you can search the entire presentation server for a certain expression using the Solr index. I was wondering if this would make sense for the shared notes, too.
