Tile server based maps

Similar to the bettermap panel from Kibana, but using the new Elasticsearch geo hash grid for better scalability.

Would it also be possible to add some details to the map when you hover over a geoip entry?

For example to either use data from a certain field (maybe scripted). So when you have data that has geoip along with "system" and username. When hovering over a item in the map it would perhaps aggregate on "system", pop up a terms panel. The scripted part would be similar to the aliases in Grafana, so you could show $username is logged on to $system

And a second one, to be able to specify a default center and zoom level.

It would be very handy to include a configuration item for alternative tile map servers. With OpenTileMap one can create their own tile servers - also it would be possible to use non-normal tiles.
