Describe the bug: Adding filters on iFrames on visualizations is not working. It works on dashboards.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a visualization
  2. Get the embedded iFrame link and create the html
  3. Open the viz in browser
  4. Filters don't work

Please note they work on dashboards

Expected behavior: filters should work on visualizations

@bhavyarm That is a duplicate of #16595. It has been broken since 6.0, and we have not yet found a way to properly fix it (also see the discussion in #16642).

I don't think we should consider this a blocker for 6.3, since it's not a regression from 6.2 and has been around for some time. We nevertheless are trying to fix it, but to have a proper fix we currently need to get #19172 done, to not cause the failures described in the above PR.

I will close this as a duplicate, if we still want to consider the issue a blocker, please add the blocker label to #16595 and ping me again.
