Creating shorter links for sharing dashboards in Kibana

In Kibana 4+, a dashboard can be shared by copying the html code generated by the Share link. Unfortunately, this length link is way too long and causes issue with some of our applications which have a max length attribute on the length of a url.

For teams that work behind a corporate firewall, url shorteners like bitly are not an option . A feature that can map a shorter alias to the longer url will be really appreciated . It would be great if there can be dashboard directories as in Kibana 3.
