So i have a 3 node Elasticsearch Cluster which is healthy (green). When i try to lauch kibana it takes extremely long to load up. It hangs when i try to load some already created dashboard inspite of time span being just last 30 days. And i am unable to create one specific index alone. This index has some 12Gb data in Elasticsearch. It has some thousands of fields in its documents as well. Kibana settings tab hangs when ever i try to create this index. And for another created index with similar size and no of fields kibana doesnt list the fields available to be able to query or visualize.

This is a blocker for us. And the performance of kibana is too poor that anyone trying to use the portal is losing patience. What is the solution? some one please help me.

I would like to mention that the servers in which elasticsearch and kibana are running have high Processing speed and some 150Gb RAM. Inspite of having such high performance boxes i am seeing such performance issues.

i tried to monitor browser heap usage..that didnt seem high as well.
