It only happens on Safari. Open the Service Maps and move some nodes around. The connections and some nodes disappear while moving the node.

Good catch. Sounds like a nasty rendering bug that could be hard to solve. Let's hope not 🤞

@elastic/apm-ui does anyone else see this problem?

This might be due to the fact that the quadratic bezier calculations happen on each drag event as the mouse moves...This isn't noticeable in Chrome/FF but i guess in those versions of safari it's too expensive. We could omit the recalulations, but it would make the curves look weird until the drag event stops, and then the curve snaps in final bezier computation.

@ogupte you may be right but I didn't experience any problems at all. All panning/zooming/dragging/layout was completely smooth in Safari.
