[Uptime] More discoverable click through to the waterfall chart

With 7.11 you get to the waterfall chart by clicking on the name of the step

This is not immediately obvious and users may not realise this is even possible, or what they will get when clicking through.

Whilst this click through doesn’t necessarily need to be removed, there should be a more obvious indication that the user can access the waterfall chart.

There was a slack discussion and whilst there is an existing APM icon for a waterfall, this may not be sufficient on its own.

It’s worth noting that whilst the current waterfall page only contains the waterfall chart, it will be enhanced in the future to include other step level performance metrics and information.

Maybe an icon and call to action will be more obvious, for example:

Discussed in the design sync:

• We will do this under 7.11 as there is concern that users won’t even know they can get to the new waterfall chart
• Leave the current link from the step name, but add a primary button above step script with the label "View performance breakdown"
