Summary

Related design issue elastic/apm#302

Eventually, we'd want to replace our existing Waterfall visualization because it will make the experience more consistent across Observability and the visualization will be improved upon over time. This issue to tracking the possible blockers in replacing our existing experience with the new.

Missing functionality

  • No support for collapsing spans and rendering parent/child relationships.
